In honor of Financial Literacy Month, Worthy and The Options Lady- also known as Laurie Itkin, have teamed up to host Building Your Financial Foundation for a Fresh Start, a free event at the Hera Hub in Sorrento Valley. Worthy will teach attendees how to transform unwanted jewelry into seed money to invest for a financial future. Divorce financial expert Laurie Itkin will explain the five steps she took to grow her wealth from $1.6K to $1M. The event is free to attend and includes wine tasting, refreshments, and raffle prizes. Although Worthy and the Options Lady are post-divorce experts, all women who want to learn more and help close the financial literacy gap are welcome to attend.
